Picnic and Cutting event at Kelly Grummons'
Join the Colorado Cactus & Succulent Society for our annual Cactus Cut-Up at the home of Kelly Grummons, owner of Cold Hardy Cactus!
Bring cactus and succulent cuttings, offsets, starts, mature plants, clean pots, tools, or other cactus-related items to exchange with fellow enthusiasts. Please have items you'd like to share set out by 10:00 AM.
Everyone who contributes items will receive a numbered ticket. Numbers will be drawn throughout the event, and contributors will each have an opportunity to select an item from the shared collection. Once everyone who donated has made a selection, all remaining plants and supplies will be available to everyone.
Kelly will also have plants available for purchase throughout the day.
Bring your own lunch, and feel free to bring a snack or dessert to share. The club will provide water.
Whether you're an experienced collector or just getting started, the Cactus Cut-Up is a great opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts, discover new plants, and spend a fun day celebrating cacti and succulents.
