Panayoti Keladis
I am a long-time member of CCSS and CSSA with a special love for Western native cacti, South African plants in general, and hardy Crassulaceae. I grow more than 4,000 taxa in my home garden in southeast Denver.
I serve as Senior Curator and Director of Outreach at Denver Botanic Gardens, where I’ve spent decades involved in plant exploration, garden design, and public horticulture. My work at the Gardens has included helping develop and promote Plant Select®, a plant introduction program that has brought many new and underused plants into cultivation, and working with colleagues on gardens and programs that highlight climate-adapted and drought-tolerant plants.
